Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

ART is a gentle and effective approach that helps the brain process and release distressing memories, emotions, and patterns. Through guided eye movements and visualization techniques, clients can experience relief from trauma, anxiety, grief, and other challenges—often in just a few sessions.

If you’ve been feeling alone in your relationship because your partner doesn’t want to come to therapy, or if you’re exhausted from trying to be the “perfect mom” while quietly carrying guilt for needing time to yourself—you’re not alone. I help women who feel like they’re barely holding it all together find calm, clarity, and the confidence to create more balance in their lives. I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with a Master’s degree from Yorkville University, and I specialize in helping women navigate relationship struggles, anxiety, and the pressure of motherhood. My approach is trauma-informed and integrates Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—offering both emotional healing and practical strategies you can use in your daily life.

Originally from Germany, now settled in Alberta with my Canadian husband after years spent in Southern Africa, I bring an open and inclusive perspective to therapy. I value creating a warm, safe space where you can show up just as you are. And outside the counselling room, you’ll likely find me enjoying nature, sharing time with friends, or savouring a quiet coffee.
